In the first season, most of the competitors are special-effects designers, some of them are sculptors while others are costume-makers. This is why you will not be disappointed if you watch this reality TV show. Even in the first episode, their creativity comes to the surface.
The ten competitors are split into teams of two and their challenge is to create a puppet of a mystical sea creature. So basically, in each challenge they are supposed to create a creature, whether it is a junk creature, fantasy creature, swamp creature or alien diplomat. As a reward for the winner of the contest, he got a contract for working with Jim Henson in his creature shop, plus $100.000.
