Laura and Jake revisit the site of their first date, a powerful congressman’s campaign gets tainted by a sex scandal, the team finds the remains of a man’s body, and the detectives experience New York Fashion Week.
Laura enters a high-stakes poker game, a woman is found dead on a “party bus,” and the 2nd Precinct detectives are off to the races.
The frozen body of a sous chef is found, there are sparks between Jake and Angela, and Laura and Jake team up to work undercover. A female impersonator is murdered, Laura and the team are on the hunt for a murderer, and a former beauty queen gets stabbed. The detectives probe the murder of an intern, Laura dodges her birthday, and Laura and the team have to stop a robbery.
