Season 1 Recap
Bernie struggles with an inexperienced crew, Ken and Guillaume fight a flooding creek, and Big Al goes after the “smart” gold. Ken and Guillaume’s equipment problems, and Bernie moves Karl’s operation.
Ken and Guillaume face continual breakdowns, elsewhere Al’s pay streak is threatened. Guillaume tries to move the Beast, meanwhile Al works around the clock. Winter threatens to shut down mining early, meanwhile Big Al and Hiro battle beavers. Karl faces simultaneous breakdowns, Big Al moves his sluice plant, and Bernie’s gear degrades. There is no diesel left and ground to sluice, meanwhile Karl ignores his dad’s advice.
Season 2 Recap
Karl races to get 100 ounces in the first week, Big Al has to replace big iron, and Ken sinks big money. Big Al smells gold in the ground, meanwhile Dennis has to scrape $10,000. Ken fights a double mutiny, Cam’s veteran welder is stuck down, and Karl fights permafrost on his cut.
Big Al’s excavator takes a nosedive, Karl’s cut floods, and Ken rolls his only dozer. Ken and right hand man Guillaume fight, the crews are battling the elements, and Big Al follows his gut.
