Mozart in the Jungle is about behind the scene events, sex, drugs, and classical music combined.

The show was created Roman Coppola, Jason Schwartzman, and Alex Timbers. The main cast consists of Lola Kirke, Saffron Burrows, Hannah Dunne, Gael García Bernal, and others.

The show has been renewed for a second season, we still don’t know the exact date, it is expected to be in the early 2016.

Season 1 Recap

Sex, drugs and classical music illustrate the scenes behind the curtain, Rodrigo insists that she play with the orchestra. Hailey pays a late night visit to Alex, Alex helps Hailey in figuring out how to make some easy money.

Hailey lets off a lifetime of steam, meanwhile Gloria hosts a fundraiser to introduce Rodrigo. Someone important is coming, Thomas gone on a sabbatical, and Hailey is summoned by Rodrigo.

Pressure mounts, meanwhile Alex is wondering why Hailey hasn’t returned his calls. Hailey runs into Lizzie, Cynthia is sent to track down Thomas, and Rodrigo calls Hailey to drive him upstate.

Cynthia takes some pills for her wrist, meanwhile Hailey finds Alex, ready to feel alive. Hailey is ready to give up on her dream, Rodrigo is forced to make a choice.

Mozart in the Jungle Season 2 Update

Amazon has officially renewed Mozart in the Jungle, the first season received high praise and excellent reviews. The second season will start airing in early 2016.
