It’s about the fierce boss Tommy Shelby who’s intention is to move up and conquer whatever there is to conquer.

The show was created by Steven Knight, the cast includes the likes of Cillian Murphy, Sam Neill, Paul Anderson, Helen McCrory, Joe Cole, and others.

Season 1 Recap

Everything begins after the Great War, Thomas Shelby leads his gang, and Thomas appropriates a consignment of gun. Thomas continues dating Grace, he also gets into a fight with the Lees. Campbell sends a message to Thomas via Aunt Polly, meanwhile Thomas is approached by two IRA members.

Grace follows the Irishmen and ends up shooting one, meanwhile Thomas takes Grace to Cheltenham races. Thomas now has a legitimate betting licence, John announces that in order to give his children a mother he is to marry a prostitute named Lizzie, Thomas disapproves of his choice.

Polly visits Ada with food for the baby, The reappearance of Arthur Senior splits the family. Polly welcomes Ada and her baby back into the family, meanwhile Churchill believes Grace should receive a commendation.

Season 2 Recap

Two years have elapsed, Thomas asks Ada to return home on Freddie’s funeral. Campbell visits Thomas in hospital, they both know that Grace has married.

Irish gangs fight each other in Birmingham, Thomas and his gang go to London in order to join up with Solomons.

Thomas and his new horse trainer become better acquainted, meanwhile Tommy’s power-base in London has been obliterated. Derby day arrives, subsequently Tommy is faced with impossible decisions.
