Summary: It starts in a small community on a mountain, the locals are shocked when the dead reappear. These ghostly characters are in human form, they have not aged and have no recollection of them being dead.

Camille comes back from the dead, he was killed in a bus crash. Adele has difficulty coping with the fact that Simon is back, emotionally she is a wreck. Camille tries to adjust to the new things, he gets introduced to Peirre, a man who predicted the return.
Life is becoming too difficult, for that reason, Camille invents a new identity. Julie gets scared to death after an old trauma resurfaces.
Lena’s health is getting worse and worse, she is convinced is has something to do with Alice. Adele and Simon begin their romance once again, Julie decides that something needs to be done in order to prevent Simon’s death.
As the returned come out they fast realize that they cannot lead normal lives. Victor starts searching for his killer, Lena is found by an elusive figure.
The whole town’s power shuts down, people get together in unexpected ways. Camille and Lucy find new roles in the community.
A year has passed since Thomas preventing Adele from committing suicide. The water level rises, susbequently it reveals more of the old village that once existed there. Madame Costa reveals Camille that she died from starvation some time ago after the dam broke and they were left with no food for three weeks.
The tensions between the living and the “dead” continues to rise after a mysterious group of “returned” emerges. Everyone starts choosing a side.
