Enlightened

Amy Jellicoe is suddenly moved to a different department and there is a rumor that all of that is because of an affair with her boss. She is even more devastated when she hears what her co-workers have to say about her. Amy has a nervous breakdown and she confronts everyone she meets on her way to Damon’s office.

After she confronted her boss Damon in the elevator, the scene moves to Hawaii, where Amy is having treatments. After her rehabilitation, we see Amy on her first day back at work. On the outside, she is confident and strong, but on the inside, she still has a lot of things to work on. She also meets Tyler and she is very impressed with him. Amy tries to fix the relationship with her former assistant, Krista, but she does not succeed.

Unlike in the first season, in season 2 Amy is a lot stronger, more confident and believes in herself. In the season premiere we see Amy trying to find a way to take down Abbaddon Industries. Together with Tyler, they set up a meeting with Jeff Flender, a journalist who might be just what they need. Tyler tries to keep the investigators further from him and Amy, but Dougie finds out who hacked into Abbaddon’s security system. Later on, Amy, Tyler and Dougie are working together and put all their strength into ruining the company. In the season finale, Amy meets Abbaddon lawyers.
