Season 1 Recap

A young lawyer starts a new job, a new client who is under investigation, Olivia must protect him. A millionaire’s son who has been accused of rape, the team tries to help him. Olivia and Cyrus get into a heated argument, Olivia and her team help defend the pilot of a plane.

Olivia and Fitz’s campaign is revisited, meanwhile Gideon looks into Amanda’s past. The finale has Olivia and the team rally when Quinn finds herself in a tragic situation.

Season 2 Recap

Information about Quinn’s past and real identity is revealed, Olivia and her team must do some heavy lifting. A government employee shocks Olivia, meanwhile Olivia is asked by Senator Davis to help locate a girl.

A governor takes the law into his own hands, on the other hand Olivia receives a coded warning. The team manages a billionaire, Cyrus asks for Olivia’s help.

Olivia helps the vice president, Olivia and Cyrus find out that Fitz is awake. Fitz calls a press conference, Hollis asks Olivia for help, and David learns the truth about the Cytron case. Cyrus is going to christen his baby, meanwhile Olivia is tasked with finding a woman.

Osbourne learns that Olivia’s people are following him, he commits suicide. Olivia is unconscious in the hospital, meanwhile Huck has a breakdown after being locked up. Mellie has secretly moved into the Blair House, Cyrus is at the center of a big scandal at the White House. The finale has Olivia and her team in a very dangerous situation.

Season 3 Recap

Olivia learns what her father is capable of, meanwhile Mellie and Fitz confess their true feelings. Pope & Associates agree to work with a philandering senator. Olivia and Mellie have a surprising run-in, Harrison’s loyalty is tested. Mellie does a hard-hitting news interview, Olivia and the team must manage a potential crisis.

The team gets closer to the truth, subsequently everyone struggles to face the consequences of their actions. Rumors are going around about Fitz and Olivia having an affair, Fitz faces a harsh reality.

Olivia receives shocking news, Sally arranges a meeting with the NRA, and Fitz and Mellie’s children prepare for an interview.

Abby steps in as Olivia’s proxy, the team must spring into action after a security breach. Cyrus learns of Maya Pope’s latest plan to kill President Grant.

Season 4 Recap

Fitz begins his second term with a plan, Cyrus sets out to recruit a power couple, and an old friend returns for help. Fitz asks Olivia to shut down a situation, meanwhile Jake doesn’t return Olivia’s calls. Olivia is summoned by a convicted assassin, Huck plays with fire, and Fitz and Jake continue to fight over Olivia.

Huck longs to connect with his family, Quinn and Huck uncover West Angola conspiracy, and Olivia is kidnapped and held hostage in an unknown location.

Olivia is still missing and officially goes up for bidding, the gladiators fight to save her. A tragedy in D.C. gains national attention, meanwhile David Rosen is caught off guard.

Although there in no confirmation, the fifth season of Scandal (if it’s renewed) should premiere in fall 2015, probably late in September or early in October 2015.
