Season 1 Recap

Mindy is a 30 something Ob/Gyn, she gets drunk and makes a scene at her long-term ex-boyfriend’s wedding, Mindy and Danny argue over who to hire as their new nurse, meanwhile the hospital staff spend the evening at a nightclub.

Danny attempts to pass his driving test, meanwhile Mindy’s gynecologist retires. Mindy spends Thanksgiving at Gwen’s house, Jeremy is introduced to Betsy’s family, and Dr. Shulman retires and leaves Mindy.

Mindy’s Christmas party is ruined, Mindy is horrified after she learns that her brother will leave college and embark a career as a rapper.

Gwen has to go to the emergency room, elsewhere Morgan, Betsy, and Shauna uncover a secret. Mindy tries to set up a one-night stand and Danny goes on a date with Jillian.

Mindy meets a guy at a party, she also gets back in touch with a former crush. Mindy has a disastrous birthday party, meanwhile Danny is caught by Morgan treating an old friend.

Season 2 Recap

Newly engaged Mindy returns from her volunteer mission, elsewhere Danny and Christina’s relationship continues to deteriorate. Danny joins a support group, most of the hospital staff attend a music festival, and Morgan sues Mindy for sexual harassment. Danny wants Peter out of the practice, meanwhile Mindy begins dating an Arts and Culture writer she also tries to get to know Peter better.

Danny tells Mindy she is too picky, Mindy tells Danny about a crush, and Morgan seeks Cliff’s forgiveness. Danny’s younger brother comes to visit New York, meanwhile Mindy plans a Christmas party. Mindy attempts to get in shape with Danny as her fitness coach. Mindy runs into her ex-fiancé, Casey. Jeremy and Peter devise an interesting plan, meanwhile Mindy and Danny try their hand at dating.

Mindy and Danny move on, Peter encourages Mindy to think more like a man, and Mindy has a run-in with the law. Peter dates a brain surgeon, Mindy goes out on a date with a guy that everyone at the office disapproves of.

Season 3 Recap

It is the beginning of “firsts” for Mindy and Danny, Mindy comes face-to-face with tax troubles, and Danny tries a new maneuver in bed. Mindy gets herself and Danny into trouble, elsewhere Peter puts his grudge against Jeremy aside. Tamra and Morgan set up Peter on a blind date and Peter’s “dream girl,” Abby, turns out to be a bit of a nightmare.

Mindy is forced to act as a mentor, Mindy sets up Danny’s mom, Annette, on a blind date. Mindy wonders if Danny is about to propose, she also heads to Stanford University. Mindy has some big news to tell Danny, she also made up her mind to move to San Francisco.

Danny is upset with Mindy’s horrible eating habits, meanwhile Mindy’s fertility clinic opens. Danny’s priest dies after hearing Danny’s confession, meanwhile Mindy struggles with her body image.

Mindy starts to question Danny’s commitment, Morgan thinks he overheard Mindy saying that she in not entirely confident that Danny is the father of her child, he gathers all the guys she slept with in an attempt to figure out who is the father.
